Angelology - Danielle Trussoni I really latched on to this book early. It was a more cerebral action-thriller-based-on-ancient-mysteries story with some quirky characters a lot of details about angels and a nice slow build. The problem is that the pace started quickening, then running, and by the time I slammed into the ending there were characters coming and going faster than I could track. The fact that it is the beginning of a trilogy didn't thrill me either since it left much unresolved.

I would have given this a 3-star rating based on all the sudden twists and turns near the end, and the non-ending ending, however I enjoyed the story and characters enough to bump that up to 4 stars.

I really think that Ms. Trussoni has a 5-star novel in her, and just maybe it is one of the follow-ups to this.
