Last Call - Tim Powers One of my favorite Powers books. Great story set in Las Vegas with lots of real-world-mysticism and some history of the city to boot. Based on legends of a Fisher King, and uses the chaos and luck surrounding vegas in new and unusual ways. (When the smoke at a poker table pools towards the middle and the drinks in glasses all tilt slightly, get out of the game -- you don't know what you might be playing for!)
